2007 is when Wale first bursted onto the scene, same year Lupe released the classic "The Cool" and the year before the other rapper from Toronto debuted. So you can see why this was exciting, and surprisingly Kardinal had the best verse.

Make Her Say (2009)
The XXL frsehman superstar from Cleveland followed up his first hit (Day 'N' Nite) with this smash hit, featuring the Chi-Town's 2 most legendary members, "spittin' fire". It almost makes you forget this whole song is about oral sex. Those balloons in the video ain't for no party. They represent sperm cells. Haha, nice.

4 Kings (2006)
This song doesn't make the list without T.I's verse and the death of Pimp C, who laced the hook. Since this song its been a while since a solid southern collabo like this has been made.

The "best duo ever" makes their return to rap after a 3-year hiatus with this...masterpiece. Then again its hard not to make a classic with a 'Ye verse, 'Ye beat, and 16 bars from Pusha T.

I Get Money (Forbes 123 Remix) (2007)
If I didn't know any better, I'd say this was just one big ass business meeting. But, yes, these 3 CEO's also rap. Wasn't anything special, but the fact that these 3actually did a track together means something.

Touch It Remix (2006)
We all know Busta is animated. But in '06 he brought some friends to get crazy with him. Honestly, there's no one really that special besides him and X, but sheesh, they rose to the occasion.

Maybach Music Pt. II (2009)
2009's best rap album thus far was marked by the sequel to last year's Maybach Music. A trio this time, Kanye once again delivered with a guest verse to go with the amazing beat, and Wayne tried his best, which was actually enough in this case.
13. Kanye West/Nas/Rakim/KRS-One
Better Than I've Ever Been (2007)
Actually meant to be a Nike theme song, these four turned it into one of the year's best collabos, with the new school (Kanye, Nas) sharing the load with the old timers (Rakim, KRS).
12. Terror Squad/Mase/Eminem/Lil' Jon
Lean Back Remix (2004)
With the exception of the West Side, the entire hip-hp community -- Terror Squad, Mase (East Coast), Eminem (Midwest) and Lil' Jon (South) -- come together on the remix for arguably 2004's biggest hit record. It was also the last pure hit record that Fat Joe made (lol). Eminem usually doesn't do guest appearances, so that added to the "hot-ness".

Maybach Music Pt. I (2008)
Jay is another guy who likes to limit guest appearances, but he came out to help his newest southern signee's sophomore effort, and he didn't disappoint. However, its Ross that makes this song a classic with 2 verses, one before and after Jay that, in my opinion, propelled him to stardom.

Black Republicans (2006)
Another appearance from Jay, this time, of bigger proportions. After Ether, it was no secret that these 2 were heavily beefing, but with '06's Black Republican's, Nas basically says, "Hov, my fault" and Jay basically responds, "It's cool, I'll just bust ya ass and we'll be even".
9. Jay-Z/Kanye (w/Rihanna)
Run This Town (2009)
It's the 4th time (The Bounce, Diamonds Remix, Swagga Like Us) time these 2 have hooked up, and the most recent. It's the first time -- finally -- that 'Ye actually outdid his 'big brother', who turned in 2 rather disappointing but decent verses. The fact that this is the all-important Blueprint 3's second single doesn't hurt either.
((Btw, this is my pick for video of the year, right in front of Kanye's Paranoid)).
8. T.I/Eminem
Touchdown (2007)
A song that most people don't know about, Eminem and T.I hook up for the best 2 man brigade since Renegade, and that's saying something. It's only fitting that Mr. 8-mile himself graces Tip w/a guest verse.
7. Outkast/Lil' Wayne/Snoop Dogg
Hollywood Divorce (2008)
If only Weezy would rap like this all the time. Instead of bein outshined by the 3 other legends on the track, Wayne turns in a verse-of-the-year candidate, going to to toe with 3000 and Big Boi, who continued their dominance, and sheesh. What a beat.
6. T.I/Kanye West/Jay-Z/Lil' Wayne
Swagga Like Us (2008)
The only people who didn't disappoint were T.I & Jay (yes i'll admit, Kanye was less than extraordinary). Kanye and Wayne come strong but 'Ye tried for too many punchlines and Weezy sounded constipated. Not to take away from the song though, the M.I.A sample on the 'Ye instrumental was genius and it made Paper Trail arguably '08's best album.

*out of breath* Almost as if he was scared of rapping alone, The Game brings out 24 of the game's best just to show their faces and spit a few bars. Nobody rapped long enough or hard enough to make any verse really memorable, but jus the sheer magnitude of the track makes it #5.
4. Big Boi/Raekwon/Andre 3000
Royal Flush (2008)
Big Boi came hard enough to make this lyrically better than '08's other big collabo (S.L.U), but on his own song -- this happens way too often -- gets seriously outshined by his own partner, Andre 3000.
3. UGK/Outkast
International Players Anthem (2007)
Nice to see 2 of the best duo's ever on the same track, and they didn't disappoint. Andre 3000 spits what undoubtedly was the best verse of 2007 and possibly his career, and they had a helluva video to go with it. Next thing you know Pimp C is dead. Talk about theatrics.
2. Jay-Z/Eminem
Renegade (2001)
Uhh, tough to top, and it would have made #1 if it weren't for Wednesday's leak. The story goes that Em recorded his 2 verses first, so Jay knew what he was dealing with and he still couldn't top the Detroit native. Well, whatever it is, it turned out to be an all-time great.

Forever (2009)
Swagger Like Us on steroids. Drake is creating the biggest debut buzz since 50, maybe even Kanye. After singing to get his 4th straight multi-platinum plaque, 'Ye is proving to the world he's still a rapper with his 9th superstar guest appearance of 2009. Lil' Wayne suspended his will to rock to follow up S.L.U with a better guest verse than last year, and after a shaky return to rap with his highly-anticipated "Relapse", Eminem puts his Marshall Mather's voice back on and blacks. Makes for a helluva storyline huh? Usually, great storylines don't always make for great songs. This begs to differ.
Notice that of the 20 posse cuts we listed, Kanye was a part of 7, Jay a part of 6, and Weezy a part of 5. Talk about superstardom.

Anticipation built this week when numerous celebrity gossip sites revealed that the song would be released on friday but a semi-mastered version was released a few minutes ago and it is amazing. Using a slightly altered beat from Drake's 2007 Comeback Season mixtape (I Want This Forever feat. Lil Wayne, Kidd Kidd), Graham, 'Ye, Weezy and Em all went in on this high powered historic collaboration. The previous greatest collabo of all time (Swagga Like Us) actually pales in comparison to the job done by these four. Lil' Wayne and Kanye were both on SLU and they both outdid themselves compared to last year.

Drake: Swimmin' in the money come and find me, Nemo/If I was at the club you know i balled, chemo.
Kanye: I stuck my dick inside this life until that bitch came

Umm, previously reported on BKS, the superstar Toronto MC Drake officially signed with Young Money via a multi-million dollar deal with Universal Republic.

Less than a month after officially reporting his lucrative contract with Lil' Wayne's posse, Drake was taking shots at Sylvia Rhone
(((("and SYLVIA be tellin' Tez 'damn Drake fly'"...))))(The Motown Records President) for not taking advantage of the opportunity to sign him with remarks like "I Don't Fuck With Motown, At All", and name-dropping her in one of his biggest records "Say What's Real" (See blog post: Best They Never Had).
But Guys, Drake is signed to Motown Records.
Young Money's logo will just appear on all of his material "out of respect for Lil' Wayne and all that he's done for me and my career" (Direct Drizzy quote.)

I usually don't write this much but I just found this to be hilarious.
